Was wondering if anyone on here could tell me if there is such a thing as medical window tint. i have a medical problem with my eyes and had my windows tinted to 5%. was pulled over and went to court and they told me that i had to have medical window tint. hopefully someone could shed some light on this for me.

window tint has the ability to be 99% uv protectant without being dark, usually 70% film is what is considered medical film(the penndot form actually states that there should not be a tint or darkness to the film installed) ...and some dark films(especially dyed films, lower quality brands) arent even 99% uv protectant. my suggestion would go 30%, hopefully they would be ok with that..

As long as you have a dr. note you'll be okay.
