unfortunately Damon didn't jump off the band-wagon...he was thrown off, and then trampled by the wheels! Personally, I enjoy the ride of the season. I want the Phils to succeed, but I try not to get my hopes up. They are definately fun to watch when they are winning though, thats for sure. Ryan

dont be hatin on the sillies. they are without a doubt on the road to another incredibly amazing and inconceivable repeat season of the last 10 years. they are like the illegitimate child of the bad news bears and ground hog day, not the good looking one, the one that was born later after they had moved next to the nucular power plant. you have to give them credit though. . . . well no you dont. the only hope for the sillies to become real winners, i say that because i dont consider barley treading water over .500 wether it be 3 games today or 1 game tomorrow an accomplishment. is for them to get a new ownership. there is an old (90 something) lady that owns over 40 percent of the team . so when she finnaly stops cheating death and takes a dirt nap hopefully the rest of the pathetic , noncaring , should be a target for some radioactive superlarge meteor from space , apathetic(did i mention they dont give a .....) money hording owners wont be able to buy her shares of the team. if thats the case some new blood will finally have a say on how this team is run......... so we have that goin for us. so be good stay out of trouble dont buy bonds save your chicken fat join shades of gray and hi there willy

Just when it looks like our favorite lovable loosers might make some headway..... I just cant understand how they can have so many injuries. It boggles the mind. And even though you can never have enough pitching , blaa blaa blaa... I would rather see them just play the young kids and see what they can do. Not real happy with the pick up of a guy with a 5 era.... for his carrier. Maybe they will put Durban in the bullpen to replace Madison. But what that will do to his Psyche and his arm when hes used to being a starter is to be seen, probably wont ever have to worry about it anyway. He'll trip over the stay towel in the locker room and sprain an obligatory muscle.

they can never get over the hump it seems...this team is known for band aids instead of actually fixing the problems..i aint happy with that guy either

Well its nice to know these days you can still really on some things. The new pitcher the phillies picked up obviously signed the mandatory form from the organization that he agreed to get at least one but not more than 4 injuries while he is under contract. Its like that lame Disney movie angels in the outfield.Only our version would be devils in the out field.Last I checked it was 7 to 5 with the Phil's on top , but they were giving up hits fast. Like the old sunny and sherr song went..... And the beat goes on.

I don't think they will be able to catch the mets. All the chips are on the wild card spot. How about that second baseman they picked up to fill in for uttley. What the heck!!! he cant even bring his average up to 500. They cant get any good help.I guess they'll be setting up a scouting camp in japan over the off season. If he can play third when uttely comes back, look out. He can be the slightly squinter version of Placido Palonco. You just never mind the fact that he's never played that position before. He's from japan he had to go to school 12 months a year, therefore increasing his brain size and ability to learn faster. he'll be fine. And then we can trade him for a soon to be convicted ........ lets get a wife beater this time. DAM we already got that guy.

i like iguchi..he should swing over to the third base when utley comes back.he has played a few games there in his career, just not many..he has good range and fields 10x better than helms, hits better than nunez...i dont know if we can catch the mets, but we do play them 7 more times, 4 at home...thats where we have to beat them...
