Metallic tint interference w/ AM radio?

Hi Guys,

I got a tint on my VW Jetta from you guys last week and it looks great. Only problem is that I get crappy reception now on AM radio. Have you had this happen before? I knew of this being a problem with the metallic tint but I thought my antenna was on the roof.

You're reception for everything should be great...accept AM. The metalized films tend to interfere with AM. I apologize if this wasn't mentioned, we forget to mention that sometimes because not many people listen to AM anymore...accept for a few who listen to sports radio...like myself...lol. If you absolutely need the AM reception clear, we can retint with a non-metallic film, which will help, but is a little bit lower of a quality. Call us up to discuss more.
